Install guide

Install Viziona on any device

Which device are you installing on?

Every path below ends with channels on your screen.

Install on Fire TV or Firestick

There is no Google Play on a Fire TV, so the app arrives through the free Downloader app instead. Five steps, and one permission that has to be switched on.

Requires
Fire OS, Android 7+
Download size
66 MB
Takes about
6 minutes
Free space needed
~150 MB
Downloader code 4975088

You type this on the TV, inside Downloader. Step 3.

  1. 1

Install Downloader on the Fire TV

From the Fire TV home screen, search for Downloader and install it from the Amazon Appstore. It is free, the icon is orange, and the developer is AFTVnews. This is the app that fetches Viziona for you.

  2. 2

    Allow Downloader to install apps

Go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer options → Install unknown apps and turn Downloader on. Viziona is not in the Amazon Appstore, so Fire OS needs this permission once. You can switch it back off afterwards.

No Developer options in that menu? Open Settings → My Fire TV → About, highlight your device name, and click it seven times. The menu appears.

  3. 3

    Enter the code in Downloader

Open Downloader, select the address field, type 4975088 and press Go. Digits only, no spaces and no http.

    Downloader code 4975088

    or open aftv.news/4975088

  4. 4

    Download, then install

The file is 66 MB. When it finishes, choose Install, then Open. Downloader then offers to delete the installer file. Say yes, it frees the space back up.

  5. 5

    Pair and add your playlist

Viziona opens on a QR code. Scan it with your phone, which opens viziona.tv/pair, and paste your M3U link or Xtream Codes login there. The TV loads your channels a few seconds later.

You only pair once. After that the Firestick goes straight to your channels.

When it does not go to plan

The things people actually write to us about.
Fire TV says “App not installed” or “Install blocked”
Two causes, in this order. First, the Install unknown apps permission for Downloader is off, which is step 2. Second, the stick is full: a Firestick needs roughly 150 MB free to unpack a 66 MB app, not 66. Delete an app you do not use, or clear a cache under Settings → Applications → Manage Installed Applications, then try again.
There is no “Developer options” on my Fire TV
Amazon hides it on newer Fire OS builds. Open Settings → My Fire TV → About, highlight your device name, and click it seven times. Go back one screen and Developer options is there.
Searching on my Android TV does not find Viziona
On-TV search is unreliable, and spelling with a d-pad makes it worse. Skip it and install from your phone instead, as in step 1 of the Android TV path. It is the same app and the same account, with nothing to type.
The App Store says Viziona is not available in my country
It is available worldwide, and there is nothing to work around any more. No changing your App Store country. If you still see that message you are on a cached page: search for Viziona again, or open the App Store link on this page.
It installed, but there are no channels
Channels come from your playlist, not from the app. Check three things: the playlist was actually added and saved, your subscription with your provider is still active, and the connection limit on that subscription is not already being used by another device. Most providers allow one or two streams at a time.
The pairing code on my TV stopped working
Pairing codes expire after a few minutes on purpose. Close Viziona on the TV and open it again for a fresh code, then scan that one.

Still stuck?

Tell us the device, the step number, and what you see on screen. That is usually enough to answer in one reply.
