Viziona is an IPTV player application, operated by Viziona ("Viziona", "we", "us"), that lets you stream content using your own playlists and provider credentials. This Privacy Policy explains what information we handle and how — both when you use Viziona on its own and when you create an account.
How your data is handled depends on whether you use an account:
You can use Viziona without signing up. When you add a playlist directly on your device, its details, favorites, and preferences are stored locally. Some TV functions also contact our services without an account, including device support context, provider subscription-status checks, pairing, and playback compatibility relays. The TV weather widget contacts external services as described below. These operations are separate from the viewing-activity switch in section 4.
If you create an account, we store certain data on our servers so we can offer features that a local-only app cannot: syncing your playlists across devices and pairing the app with the web via QR codes.
An account is optional. You can add a playlist directly without creating an account or using the optional playlist-code service.
If you choose to create a playlist code on our website, you send its URL and any required provider credentials to our server, hosted on Vercel. The server asks the provider for account status and expiry metadata; it does not download the playlist or any video to create the code. Your playlist details are then stored as an encrypted payload with Supabase, so a device entering the code can import them.
The code is a private access credential: anyone who knows it can import the playlist until it expires or is revoked. Creating another code does not revoke previous codes. Code validity is limited to the detected line expiry, and the encrypted payload is erased when the code is explicitly revoked or processed as expired. Contact us to request revocation or deletion.
We use Cloudflare Turnstile to check website creation requests. Cloudflare processes the verification request. Our server derives an opaque rate-limit identifier from your connection IP; the code-creation service does not store that raw IP in its code records. Hosting and security providers may process connection data to operate and protect these services. Your playlist details and code are not stored in this page’s browser storage or included in its address.
When you use an account, we store:
Data processing also depends on the platform and feature. The TV operations below can run without a Viziona account and are separate from optional viewing-activity sharing.
The TV app sends a generated device identifier and an authentication proof to identify the installation. Device support context can include the platform, app version and major operating-system version. Provider-status checks can send the provider host, Xtream username, a host-and-username subscription key, playlist name, expiry, account status, connection limit and trial status. An existing support-thread identifier can link this information to a support conversation. These checks help show subscription status and support the installation.
If you contact support, we process the messages you send and identifiers needed to route and authenticate the conversation. Provider host and username can also form a support key. The viewing-activity switch does not disable these separate operational requests.
When the TV creates a pairing session, our service handles its generated identifier, authentication proof, TV name, platform/model and temporary pairing code. Playlist URLs and provider credentials supplied from a phone or pairing page pass through the pairing service so the TV can receive them.
The TV attempts supported provider requests directly. When a compatibility relay is used, a Viziona-operated server or Edge service processes the requested provider URL and authentication information to fetch the response. Your network address and request data may also be processed by the hosting services that deliver and protect these functions.
The TV weather widget uses IP-based location services from ipapi.co or ipwho.is to estimate a city and coordinates. Those services receive the connection IP address. The widget sends coordinates to Open-Meteo to request weather. This is approximate IP-derived location, rather than GPS location. City, coordinates and weather results are cached locally; the widget normally attempts a refresh after about 30 minutes and may reuse cached coordinates if location services fail. This refresh interval is not a server-retention promise. Availability and accuracy depend on the network and those services.
On app versions that provide viewing-activity sharing, the switch is in Settings → “Share viewing activity”. When it is on, Viziona support can see the names of the channels, films and series you watch, when, and for how long.
We use this data to provide application features and services:
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Account data is stored and processed using Supabase, our hosting and database provider, with the primary Viziona mobile and TV project databases located in London, United Kingdom. Supabase processes this data on our behalf to operate the service.
Viewing activity (section 4) is stored the same way, with Supabase. Support reads it through DaoudChat, our own support tool, which connects to those servers.
TV pairing, subscription status and support operations also use Viziona-operated services and their infrastructure providers. Weather requests use the external services named in section 3. The account-hosting statement above does not describe the location or retention of every TV relay or weather request.
We keep account data for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account and its associated data at any time:
Temporary pairing codes have limited validity. Viewing-record cleanup and the effect of turning sharing off are described in section 4. A cleanup window does not guarantee that stored records are erased at the exact moment it ends.
No fixed automatic retention period is currently enforced for TV support conversations, support context and provider subscription-status records. Removing a playlist or resetting local app data does not by itself delete those records already sent to a server. Contact us about TV installation or support data so we can identify the relevant records and handle the request. Do not send a provider password in a support message.
Viziona is a media player and does not provide any IPTV content. When you add a playlist or provider, requests may travel directly to that provider or through the pairing and compatibility services described in section 3. The provider receives the requests needed to authenticate and deliver its content. Providers have their own privacy policies and control their own processing.
We strongly recommend reviewing the privacy policy of any IPTV provider you use.
Data stored locally on your device is protected by your device's own security; we recommend using a device passcode and keeping your operating system updated.
For account data — including the playlist credentials you save — we rely on our hosting provider's encryption in transit and at rest, and access is restricted so that each account can reach only its own data. Because playlist credentials are stored on our servers to enable sync, we recommend you only save playlists from providers you trust, and that you remove playlists you no longer use.
Viziona is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of Viziona after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
